About the studio
Sol Schaefer is a freelance illustrator and designer with over ten years in the industry, working on children’s illustration, backgrounds and characters for animation, brand mascots and everything in between.
She likes drawing funny stories, nostalgic themes, everyday life and the small wonders of nature — the kind of picture a child returns to long after the story is over.
Cottom Studio takes on picture books, editorial illustration, character sheets and visual development, from first sketch to print-ready art.
